These are some of my favorite disc golf instructional videos. I categorize these as “general” because either they cover many different topics or they don’t fit into the other categories I created.
There is a lot of practice for the participants in this video with Philo Brathwaite, but if you click through to YouTube to watch it, you can use the links in the description to jump to the main instruction points, which are great!
I love Michael Johansen’s approach to the game. He plays control golf.
Chris Dickerson is so sneaky good. Every part of his game is solid.
Dynamic Discs’s Physics of Flight series is an excellent set of disc golf instructional videos. They feature many players sponsored by DD, so there are a lot of perspectives.
The midrange disc was the last kind I learned to throw well. For some reason I never took to midranges, even though a lot of people start with them. They didn’t feel as right in my hand as my fairway drivers did. Now that I can throw a mid competently, I use them very often for shorter throws that require more precision than I think I can get with a fairway driver.
