Tracking steps and sleep

So far, a couple days into use, this Letsfit fitness tracker is working great!

The app is solid and simple, and that’s just the way I like it. I can easily see my steps, heartrate, battery level, and sleep.

Speaking of the battery level, I’ve had this thing going nonstop for almost two days now, and it’s at 86% battery. Pretty impressive! That’s the power of simple. The device only does a few things, so it doesn’t suck up all the battery power.

For the record, btw, this device is not listed as compatible with Noom, so I’m guessing it’s not, although I haven’t tried to hook it to Noom yet (or even know how to, or what that means — I should find out).

[ Later that same day ] Nope, it isn’t compatible. But that’s fine. I’d rather save bucks on my device than have it be able to automatically log my steps into Noom. You may not have the same sensibility as I do regarding that, so be sure to look up which devices are supported at Noom.

Also, I discovered that I can physically enter my steps into Noom, so no big deal that my tracker doesn’t automatically do it. Well, nbd to me, anyway.

I mentioned that my Letsfit tracker also tracks and analyzes sleep, which is something I’ve been wanting to do. It’s telling me that I get a lot of Deep Sleep, almost 4 hours the first night, and 4.5 hours last night. I looked it up, and most adults get 1.5-2.0 hours of deep sleep per night.

Maybe it’s my new Ashley mattress. I went from sleeping on what was essentially a sofa to a memory foam mattress. Feels a lot better.

As always, I’ll reserve judgment on both the tracker and the mattress until I’ve given them a more thorough trial, but so far so good!
